Hi, I’m Austin Cisler, a videographer, video editor and producer with a passion for storytelling across film and digital media. I also have experience writing and in graphic design, allowing me to contribute to projects from multiple angles.
I’m currently a co host and producer of the Big Play Detroit Show with Big Play Sports Network, sponsored by FanDuel and appearing on FanDuel Sports Network. I also work closely with former Barstool Sports personality Chris Castellani as a producer and editor, helping create podcasts, video essays, vlogs and social content. Across these projects, I’m involved in everything from filming and editing to booking and distribution, shaping the overall structure and feel of each piece.
I also serve as the product and creative lead for The Skill Savvy, where I’m part of a core team developing a platform centered around real world skill sharing and community connection. The project has been in development for an extended period, and I play a key role in shaping its direction, leading the audio and visual side through visual storytelling, video production and audio cleanup. We believe the platform has the potential to change the world.
Filmmaking is my greatest passion, and I’ve been fortunate to gain hands on experience working on projects like “Kill Will” and “Camp Hallow.” I’ve worked as a production assistant, supported both the lighting team and sound department, and appeared as an on screen extra. Being part of those environments gave me a real understanding of how sets operate and reinforced my goal of continuing to grow within film and television.
Earlier in my career, I wrote for Screen Rant, covering film and pop culture, which helped sharpen my voice as a storyteller and critic.
Whether I’m working on a film set or building digital content, I’m always focused on creating work that feels authentic and engaging. I’m constantly looking to grow as a filmmaker and collaborator, and I’m always open to new opportunities to tell meaningful stories.
